Member Posts: 5 | i was fishing last night and i was catching 4 painted ray in total biggest about 15 lbs and 1 small sting ray i think it was any way it was dark brown to black in colour and i had 9 dog fish as well all this in 6 hours of fishing with sand eels last night | |

if u do fish at the start or the pier were it say no parking fish towards the orange boy start on low tide and u shoud have a good night | |

well update on fenit was fishing there a few hours ago undulate ray still there got 2 of them and 1 thornback all around 6 lb and plenty of dogfish the bait is still sandeel but when i run out i just use any bait i can get it seems to be any fish bait will work | |

4 of us were there last monday evening and all we managed were doggies and spider crabs missed a couple of ray bites.was talking to john"flattieman" and he put us on to a couple of good marks later that week.just feeling our way in the area as we come over every year to try and beat our pb rays | |

Hey Gary, It sounds like the Ray that was dark brown/black in colour was a Stingray! Be careful how you handle them lads! Sounds like a great session good stuff! | |
